St. Vincent De Paul Meal Program





The St. Stephen SVDP Meal Program is back in action!!!  



The St. Vincent De Paul Society (SVDP) of Milwaukee is an organization dedicated to the elimination of hunger and poverty in our community.


 The THIRD Tuesday of each month, several volunteers and Family Life Center work together to provide a complete meal for more than 125 people at the St. Vincent De Paul Site at 931 W. Madison in Milwaukee.

Volunteer Sign-Up

We need volunteers to shop, prep and serve.



You can invite your family and/or friends.

1-2 volunteers are needed to shop for meals before preparation.  A shopping list will be provided, and a church credit card is also available.  Shopping is done at Restaurant Depot.

 5-8 volunteers are needed to prepare the meal from 9:00 AM to about Noon on the third Tuesday of each month in the St. Stephen kitchen.  Prep, clean-up and packaging for transport is completed at this time.

 8-10 volunteers are needed to transport and serve the meals at the St. Vincent de Paul at 931 W. Madison in Milwaukee on the THIRD TUESDAY of each month.

Meet at St. Stephen's at 3:45 PM.

Transport meal to SVDP site.

Serve meals from 4:30 to 5:30.

If you are serving, please bring a cap or hat, if you wish.

Please wear closed-toed shoes, gloves and aprons are provided.

No jackets are worn while serving.  No shorts are allowed, only long pants and capris.

Back to St. Stephen around 6:00 PM.

Clean-up the transport utensils at church.
