Eagle Scout Project, Extended Adoration, Budget Overview
Happy Sunday to all! Just some brief housekeeping notes for this week’s bulletin:
1. Matthew V., a senior at St. Thomas More High School and recently confirmed Catholic here at St. Stephen, is completing a project to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout. Working with a local contractor, he along with fellow scouts, friends, and family will be pouring a concrete foundation on the west lawn outside the Commons that will eventually host a gazebo for outdoor activities. Donations he solicited from local businesses and our Legacy Fund here at the parish will provide the financing. Our thanks to Matthew for all his hard work!
2. Starting on Tuesday, September 23rd our adoration times will be expanding! You can come spend time with Our Lord starting at noon on Tuesdays all the way until just before the 6pm Mass in the evening. We are hopeful this expanded opportunity fosters our faith and love for Our Eucharistic Lord!
3. As I mentioned last month in my homily on financial giving, we take seriously the trust you place in us with your resources and we want you to feel confident that your investment with us is going to the mission of our parish. As fall begins, I’ll share more about what that mission explicitly is, but for now please take a look at this budget overview of the upcoming fiscal year (July ‘25 - June ‘26). If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to myself or Mary Peterson, our Director of Mission Advancement. Thanks again for your generosity and God bless!
-Fr. Stephen
